Helm Hotels Group Purchases Second Hotel in Lufkin, TX
Helm Hotels Group has announced the purchase of the dual-branded Sleep Inn / MainStay Suites hotel in Lufkin, Texas. This hotel is located at the intersection of Hwy-69 and Hwy-59 on the Northern side of Lufkin. The 62-room Choice Hotels branded property is conveniently located near the Angelina County Expo center.
Helm Hotels Group Opens First Clarion Pointe by Choice Hotel in Sulphur Springs
In
late 2018, Helm Hotels Group announced the purchase of the
former Holiday Inn Express of Sulphur Springs, TX and operated the hotel
temporarily as a Clarion Inn. After a $1 million renovation, the hotel opened in May 2019 as the first ever Clarion Pointe by Choice hotel.
Clarion Point is a new brand from Choice that offers travelers a chance to experience the
culture of the town from the comfort of their hotel room. Each room has
murals of Sulphur Springs attractions and the hotel features a
full-bar in the lobby.
